Recently someone asked in a comment section "how do you make a link to a site?"
I'm assuming they were talking about linking on a blog post. It's quite easy, look above at the "chain" in the tool bar where you enter your blog. This is the icon you will be clicking on to insert the url you wish to link to.

Typically, I will surf to the page I want to link to, cut and paste the URL on my clip board, then surf back to my blog entry.

First highlight the "link text" you wish to link to the url, then click on the "chain link" icon above. I window will pop up. (if you have a pop up blocker, just hold down the "ctrl" key while clicking on the icon, the window will appear. Paste the URL you have saved into the area where it asked for the link.
Be sure when pasting you don't end up with two "https" or your link won't work.
Easy.. .yes? Happy linking!

If you need to code it manually, here is what the actual html code looks like:
<a href="yourlink.com">link name</a> if you want the link to open in a new window, after the .com" target=new> or target=blank>

I know it's late but I was browsing and came across this post. You can also link by pushing "Ctrl + K"
Pop up blocker might block as well, but usually have a place at top of Browser to "Allow this site".

thanks Robert, I didn't know that. It works!
Kelly ~ it's all in the sequence. First HIGHLIGHT "cotton candy" then click on the "link" icon, then add the url, then save.
Good luck, if it doesn't work, email me. I'll walk you through it!
