Better yet, are you allowing your clients and readers to? I'm talking about RSS Feeds. How do you link your Blogs to your Websites and visa versa? Would you rather people find your post one at a time (like they do now) or would you like them to be able to access "many" posts in one location?
Here's one way. For those of you who understand RSS Feeds, this will make a lot of "sense." For those who don't, I'll try and make "cents" of it for you. :-) The Widget below allows your readers to access many of your posts from your Blog. You can also add other Sites and Blogs to your RSS Feed Reader. There are some feeds that will offer valuable information to your clients and other viewers. Try it!

Best part about this RSS Feed Widget, is that clients and readers won't have to leave your Blog or Website to view all the great information you have to offer. Also, using the RSS Feeds from other "Value-Added" sites and Blogs, makes you the source, and therefore their best resource. You can pull from any Site or Blog that has the RSS logo up in your Browsers address bar. It's that easy! There's nothing better than the price either. FREE
RSS Feed simply means to publish frequently updated content such as Blog entries, News Headlines, Podcasts or Videos etc. This RSS Feed Reader is by Grazr.com, and is just the tool you may need to keep readers at your site, reading through ALL your posts, with the ability to select the one's that interest them most. Don't wait for Google to help your clients find that single post, help them find your entire Blog!
You can use the "BIG" widget above, customized to any size, style or color. Or you can use the "small" image below, to have a more subtle effect. I think it's pretty clear which one I like! LOL! Click on the image below, and watch what happens, it's really very cool. Trust me, click on it!

See what I mean? I'm still here. I love that feature!
(This will make sense if you clicked on the image)

So if you're looking for a way to link your website to your Blog, and your Blog to your website, this might just be a very useful tool for you. There are many ways to use a tool like this for your business, I thought this would be a good start to at least introduce you to the concept of RSS Feeds, and provide you a nifty little platform to utilize them. I am also using this on my Cre8buzz Profile page. Don't let your eyes graze over, get grazing, it's an "Amazing Graze!" :-)

Being a novice, I appreciate your help. Now I just need to do it and figure it out.
THANKS

How timely, Brad! Just yesterday I finally dived in to get this news reader thing figured out. I have no problem adding your AR feed link to my Google Reader from the AR-provided RSS link, but when I use your "subscribe link" (the one under site meter) all that ports over to my reader is "title unknown" and no content. I got the same thing when I tried your Technobabble blog. Any ideas why? Can you please drop an RSS link to your Technobabble blog in your comment back to me here?

Brad , It is just so obvious and on my other site, I really missed the boat. Will get it fixed with the RSS feed and I'll bet it will make a difference just like you are saying here. Many Thanks for this reminder. How could so many of us have overlooked such an obvious mistake? Great Post that should be featured because it will make a difference. .
William - there is something about finding out a new thing that makes us feel like we made a mistake or that we are dummy's, and missed something, but the reality is that we can't know everything! Glad you got to see this, sooo many others won't....that's the mistake and sad part of our Blogs. These just disappear after time into the blogosphere. :-)
David - TIME MAGAZINE man of the Year?!? WOW - that is the highest compliment ever paid in my history on AR!! Thanks for that, but I find it pretty unlikely that a Title and Escrow Guy form California who writes Blogs for Active Rain would ever make the cover of TIME Magazine. Maybe the Back Cover of MAD Magazine! LOL! :-)

Tracy - That subscribe button is for people who want to make a selection from many of the available readers out there. If you want to access my RSS feed, you can use the little buttons at the bottom of the page.
Either one of these will work. For my techknowbabble blog, just use the URL RSS feed Icon to access the RSS feed. Let me know if you have any questions. :-)
Brad, I didn't read all the comments....gotta go. Is it dynamic? I just put a version of the widget on my office website and it is not as pretty as yours....but a start. I am assuming it is a dynamic link reflects your current blog list of posts? Correct? You are so awesome. I love reading your posts. You make us all look good. Thanks for your hard work and generous spirit. I appreciate it! I'm look forward to reading more on RSS feeds. I don't really get it! Thanks again!
Jeanean - Yes, It's dynamic. As you post, your reader picks it up. That applies to any other feeds you add as well. To understand more about RSS feeds, just click on the link I included in the post. There is a definition there and it might make more sense to you after you read that. Let me know if you need more help. :-)
Brad-It's never a surprise when I read your blogs that I'm going to find myself adding one more step of knowledge. Thank you so much. Now, I just hope I did it right. For some reason my feed shows 2 of the same lists.
Julie - let me know if you need some help with it. It is possible to double up on feeds if you're not careful, just remove the duplicate and you're good to go. :-)
Brad,
As I told you on the phone ----- THANK YOU THANK YOU
The information that you so freely share is amazing and incredibly helpful.
Brad, I'll look again, but I couldn't find the RSS feed button on your other blog.
And hey, since when are you so shy??? I gave you a ginormous opportunity to shamelessly plug your other blog. =-)
Brad: I'm bookmarking to come back and figure this out. I've seen these widgets on AR blogs, but didn't know how to get 'er done. Thanks for showing the way!

Hi Brad - Good widget! I just don't think I have enough posts on my blog yet. I am still a bit confused about how to use RSS feeds, but I'm learning. I have a question, though. If this is on my blog, will it just pick up the public posts, or will it pick up the titles of the Members only posts as well? Thanks!
Elaine - this is a great question. It WILL NOT pick up your "Members Only" posts! Only those that you select to be public, and it will pick those up automatically as you post them. So you better get to posting, you only need a few to start getting additional readers. I'd hate to have people only seeing 1 post at a time on your Blog, this way, they'll see all your posts. I think it rotates after 15 or 20.
Thanks Brad for the great idea! Right now I have a separate blog for my website and I'm copying and pasting my blogs from ar. I'm going to send this info to my webmaster to see if he can "make the magic happen"! Welcome to my World!
Diana - we have to get together. There is so many things I'd love to share with you. I don't recommend copying your posts and I'll tell you why. You're killing one bird with two stones! There may be other implications of doing that as well. Call me so we can have coffee or lunch. Hope you and Steve are well! 925 356-7165
OK Brad....you got us good this time. Up to now we have had a real good handle on all this "technical stuff" but now you have thrown us for a loop. We get what you are saying but we just don't get!!!!! We are so confused!! We have to try and figure this out!!! Thanks for the tips though!!! You are incredible!!!!
Rick and Lynn - you don't have to try and figure out anything, just call me or comment, you know I'll help you out. The RSS Feed has to many valuable benefits to list in this post, some you may not even want to share! LOL! So let me know what you're confused on and I'll do my best to un-confuse you! :-)
gradually, through posts like this, I am learning how all this stuff works. I hope to read more on the subject, and will definitely check out those links you suggested.
Sean - there is a ton of info regarding RSS feeds. Just Google "RSS FEED" and you'll find out everything there is to know, it won't take more than 5-10 minutes either. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. :-)
Brad,

Carol - that was so sweet for you to call me today! I enjoyed our chat and was very humbled by your compliment and kind words. It really is people like you, and calls like that which make Active Rain the Active place I choose to remain a part of. Your comments are truly appreciated but your call will be forever remembered! :-)
Brad, I'll look again, but I couldn't find the RSS feed button on your other blog.
And hey, since when are you so shy??? I gave you a ginormous opportunity to shamelessly plug your other blog. =-)
Tracy - I really am shy! LOL! Really!! The RSS Feed I think you're referring to on TechKnowBabble is up in the URL. Just click on the little RSS Icon in the far right hand side of the URL address bar. That's the one I used to get the Feed into the RSS Reader above in this post. I just checked to see it was there and took a screen shot for you to hopefully make it easier. Let me know if this helps... :-)
Great Widget Brad, part of me not putting outside feeds on my blog was because I wanted to keep them on my blog. Nice find. Thanks ..
Hi Jay - I totally understand. That's what's great about this one. You can customize them to be whatever you want. You could use this in so many ways, it's really up to each person and what they want to achieve from its use. Thanks for poppin in Jay, it's always GREAT to hear from you. :-)
Thanks for another awesome post. I really need to learn more about feeds.. This is exactly the type of info I have been looking for.. :-)
Nick - then this buds for you! I mean post is for you! LOL! Let me know what else you need to know and I'll post it for you. You name it, I got ya covered!! :-)
Brad: I'm bookmarking to come back and figure this out. I've seen these widgets on AR blogs, but didn't know how to get 'er done. Thanks for showing the way!

Mike - I love your comment, thanks! Now go Get 'er done!! Help is here if you need it! BTW - My Dad lives in Arizona. I always have to fly into Tucson to get down to see him in Sierra Vista. We should hook up for coffee sometime when I'm out that way. If you're ever in CA, my doors always open to you! :-)
Deb - I thought about then when I was trying to come up with a catchy title, in fact I almost used this photo I took as the graphic! Isn't that funny? Thanks for commenting and for stopping by to graze a little! :-)
Brad, as always a good tutelage....??? is that a word? Anyway, I'll bookmark and review it later. I have RSS feeds, but need more understanding.....
FYI? It took longer than usual to load this post!
Tom - I would never kick you! Especially there! LOL! You need to create a "DONE" list and add this to it!! I am such a smart *ss, wouldn't you agree? Your welcome for the little gentle and subtle push from the rear! :-)))))
So little time and so much to learn about successful blogging. I'm still on the ground level, but thanks to your helpful information I expect to improve my site little by little!
Another great post, Brad.

Brian - LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!
You are sooooo welcome!!! :-)
Now....can you snatch the pebble from my hand?
This RSS feed reader really works well.
I have been running it on other Blogs and sites and it is driving traffic back here to my Active Rain Blog. I know this works, the tracking tells me where visitors have come from, and my RSS feed reader is the only way they could have gotten here. Great stuff, just wanted to share that! :-)
Brad,
I've seen it.....I know it is important.....I think I have it........I really do not understand it.....another weekend assignment......LOL
Dan - This RSS Feed widget is my favorite. I can pull any blog into it and share it all in one location. Check out BradsDomain.com, It's my entire web page right now. Let me know if you need any help with these RSS feed tools, they can be very useful on your websites and blogs. :-)
Hey Brad
Any idea what's going on with the outside blogs' RSS feeds?
See my last post:
