New and Improved ActiveRain Leaderboard

I reblogged this post to give some additional exposure to the new ActiveRain Leaderboard.  This in my opinion is a nice supplement to the City/State pages that use to feature the ability to find specific individuals in various States under a selected category. Great job on the post Kerrie, thanks and kudos!  :-)

Via ActiveRain Corp.:

We are pleased to announce the new and improved ActiveRain Leaderboard! We couldn't have done it without the amazing feedback of our Community over the last couple of days. Thank you all so much!

ActiveRain wanted to create the best possible layout for all of our members.  A place where you can easily see how you rank within all of AR, your state, your professional group etc.

The new style is sleek and sexy...take a look.

ActiveRain Leaderboard

As you can see, I have narrowed my search down to Real Estate Agents in All States.  You can also add state, county, and city for more localization.

If you are roaming around and your name is in the list you can hit the "show me" button on the bottom right and it will take you to the page you rank on with your profile highlighted. Please keep in mind that if you are not a Loan Officer in New York and you have that specific search open, the "show me" button will not appear.

The new design will make it easier and more convenient to find what you're looking for;  whether it be a referral or simply to see where you rank amongst other members.

Another great tool is that you can access the leaderboard from your main profile.  If you click "My Home" on the top right hand side of AR you then see your smokin' hot photo with a few stats below.  The "Rank in State", "Rank in County" and "Rank in City" all link to the leaderboard.

ActiveRain is always working hard to stay on top.  We try our best to provide you with the tools you need and are asking for.  The new ActiveRain Leaderboard is our newest addition.

We hope you like it!

Just noticed this new feature! I wasn't bothered by the changes, but I have to say -- I do like this one. So, thanks!

Brad, I already commented on Kerrie's post, but wanted to tell you how great it is.  I really like it that the drill down can be accessed directly from your home page.  Much more streamline.  Agreed, Kudos to Kerrie!

Brad,

I just wanted to say how much I really like it...and like the fact you guys did the impossible in such a short period of time.

I do have something I wanted to say....although at first I wasn't liking the State pages...I have found great blogs there I would of most likely otherwise missed..... :)

Here is a quick question....is there anyway Pullman can be put on WA as a top city?  Most folks just don't know Pullman is in Whitman County and with the university here I would think it would warrant that?

Posted by LORI COFER ~ PULLMAN WA -- Realtor® ~ 509-330-0086 (Beasley Realty) about 1 month ago

I like it. I like the friendly competition of seeing myself move up in the ranks. The new look makes that easier to monitor. Another way to keep me motivated although hearing from buyers and sellers because of my blogs is the real goal.

Posted by Deanne Olivas (American Allstar Realty) about 1 month ago

Thanks for the new feature, and congratulations to those on top. jay

I commented on "Kerrie's" post earlier.  This is even so much better than before, and Jorgen was right on his comment on my post earlier this week to stay tuned.  Fantastic improvment and fits in with the new scheme nicely.

Posted by Don Sabinske, Sabinske & Associates Inc. about 1 month ago

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Lori - I'd have to check how those "top cities" are determined, that would be why and how Pullman would show up.  I know that they are not selected manually, it is an automated process to the best of my knowledge.  I will check and confirm the process and report back what I find out when I can.

Brad,

Your efforts are always most appreciated.....  :)  I know you kind of have your hands full right now....

Thanks Brad,  I also like this very much!  My only question is that in our county (lake county), the featured person actually states that she is no longer in real estate - is she still there because no one has beaten her points?   Personally, for me it is about the relationships and not the points.  Whatever I have learned and am doing from all the AR training has already gotten me more web inquires than I ever have.  And I am very appreciative!!!!

Still trying to get to a Rain Camp - I can't wait to go to one and I look forward to meeting all of you in person!  My daughter is heading to Ohio University in the fall so hopefully after that.

Brad - Nice change. While not everyone adjusts to change easily, this one is a good thing that I believe most will appreciate.

That's pretty cool, I missed the announcement of this. Lucky #7!!

By the way, since I have your attention, where is my Raincamp badge??

Coming back to AR as of May, I am wondering if there has been as much heat as this has received. You guys took a lot.

Thanks to the staff for making it better and fast. For me it was a benefit as to where I landed on the page but I have to say. points are points. I have conversed with many and they say points don't really matter. That is not true. All would not be where they are today if goals were not set based on points. It keeps me coming back and I have many goals.

Thank you to everyone at AR.  This is a great improvement in my opinion and it has been fun seeing new goodies added at a pretty rapid pace. ~ Doug

Brad, we all are greatful for getting our voices heard and it is nice to see that some ideas are actually incorporated:))Now it is time to work on Real Estate for me and for you guys on the Localism, next to the cool sleek State pages localism looks like a step child.

Brad,  I haven't seen ths before either.  I'm going to check it out as well.  Thanks!

Brad, I like the look of it but now am in a quandry. I am hyper local with my location on Fleming Island, but that city isn't named in the Florida roster of cities. The only one is Jacksonville - you have to go to a County to find the smaller cities. Any solutions for this? Or maybe I should post this on the original post for Kerrie to comment.

Brad:) Noticed this before and "HOW COOL"!     Wondering if there is a way to see what your "FEATURED" articles were/are?  Just curious!  Thanks for all your great articles.

Endre - I agree, I think Localism needs a facelift... no, make than an overhaul.  Hopefully one day soon my firend.

Sharon - not quite sure what these guys have up their sleeves but I keep hearing those infamous words...  "stay tuned!"  :-)

Donna - that may be something they are working on, they won't even tell me, when I know, you'll know.  (Big Smile)

Brad the leader board looks cool. I am going to Raincamp on Monday so it will be great to finally meet you!

Posted by Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty) about 1 month ago

Hey Bill - wish I could be there, this is the first RainCamp I'll actually miss, someone has to stay behind and hold the fort down!  :-)

Posted by Brad Andersohn ~ Community Manager (ActiveRain) about 1 month ago

Hi Brad,

I do like the new feature and love the effort that AR goes to to keep improving the site for us.  It's much appreciated.

By the way, we don't have a RainCamp Badge (though we attended) nor one for "called shots" (though we've had a couple).  There so much going on here that sometime we miss that these changes have come while we're trying to get stuff sold!

Thanks for staying in the "office" and holding down the fort.  All good things come to those who wait are considerate and helpful!

Posted by iTexas Realty Co. about 1 month ago

Hi Sara - I see the box checked on your profile that you attended RainCamp, but the badge is not showing so I reported it to our programmer to fix. You should see the badge pop up as soon as he gets it corrected. Sorry about that. :-)

BTW - looking forward to those "all good things!"  :-))

Brad - Active Rain - the sum of the parts make up the whole - activity (constant change and updating) is one of the things that makes it work so well for us. While the boys and girls in the front room and the back room work so hard for our benefit some members can only grouse about the changes ..... I know you all listen and respond to legitimate concerns so you would think by now they could at least keep their grousing to positive suggestions instead of insistent demands for what they want.

There are many who appreciate what you do and love the changes keep them coming

Looking forward to a revitalized localism

It looks like Localism is being replaced or at least complimented by the new AR Community pages. Sponsorships are available, just not sure when the land rush on these gets started... I think it starts tomorrow. Bob Stewart did a webinar on it today but I was multi-tasking, something I still haven't mastered yet, so I missed some of it. This may be the overhaul and answer to the problems that have existed on Localism for as long as I can remember.

Posted by Brad Andersohn ~ Community Manager (ActiveRain) about 1 month ago

I love the new leaderboard. It allows me to rank myself by points (and I also look at blog post and featured post). Points only tell one side of the story though! Is this person Active or is ActiveRain their form of an MLS!
