Upcoming RainCamps™

Brad, I see that you're going to have RainCamp in NY in January. Do you have a schedule for other parts of the country yet? I can't imagine missing this opportunity if you get anywhere near our area.
Brad, I am a believer! As a attendee, of the first RainCamp, I say "Save the date" and make time in your busy schedule!!! You will be astonished...
Any Plans for RainCamp to make it to Minneapolis or Chicago??
Brad, sounds great. Just wainting for the Southeast portion of the country.
Blog-N-Roll Brad...
What is RainCamp? :)
And does TM stand for try me? :)
TLW...ROAR!
We do have plans to be in many of your cities over the next few months. I've included a calendar in this post that will be updated as the dates and venue locations are confirmed. Bob is working on putting together the "tour" schedule and venues as I speak. I'll keep the calendar updated as I get confirmations for each event. San Francisco and New York with Inman Connect are confirmed and already filling up.
It will be worth your every effort to make it to a RainCamp in your area if at all possible.
Brad, I'm checking my calendar and my budget for NYC. I really hope to be there and I really appreciate this blog explaining more about what it means. I just wish it were a little closer. Any plans for 2010 to the Carolina Coastal area?
It is one of the best seminars that I've attended and it really has changed the way I'm going about my business. I highly recommend going to one, it is a sound investment.
I'll stay tuned for an upcoming venue in Cleveland perhaps?
RainCamp Seattle was freakin awesome! If you don't go and you consider yourself a socialnetworking/internet lead generator you're daft
My mom would like to know if there will be camp councelors at RainCamp making sure there is no funny business going on... Should I bring a sleeping bag?
I'm going to keep checking back to see when & where the camps are going to be...and seeing how my frequent flier miles can help me attend!
I'm in just a soon as you schedule one in the Midwest or Southeast. Can we get email alerts, like the schedules for rock concerts do?
Cool...so will you be coming to Austin, Texas soon? Jason is talking about putting one on here!
I'm seriously thinking about going to the Rain Camp in NYC. It's a perfect chance to spend some time in my old stomping grounds and to meet all of the folks I've been looking forward to meeting.
NYC! Wow that sounds fun! I am half way tempted for both SF and NYC! Great start for a wonderful venue!
Can you find Michigan on the map? Hint it's the one that looks like a mitten. Any plans on coming close to our area.?
Sounds great,....I just read a post about rain camp in NY, a 5 hr drive from Seacoast NH but worth the drive I'm sure!
Patricia/Seacoast NH
NICE !
I'm IN !!
... see you there Brad !!!!
Sheldon
PS: This is where I met you last year, at the Inman part - it's becoming a little tradition !
Brad,
I will certainly try to make NYC. There is alot to learn
I am so excited about Rain Camp in San Fran that I can't stand it! And, now that I see the great sessions we'll be having, I'm hoping I don't have to choose between them. If so, I will need two of me so I don't miss anything.
Active Rain rocks, and so do you Brad!
ta ta for now,
Tamara
I am marking it on my calendar! So lets get the carpool going! Andrea-you driving? LOL
Glad to see RainCamps filling up, we have noted all your requests to come to the your cities, and I know the gang is working hard behind the scenes here to make it all happen.
@Tamara - I'm glad you mentioned that. We have been to many great conferences, seminars, and various camps. That's usually what ends up happening. You have to pick a session over another, and that makes you feel like you might have missed something good. Not RainCamp, everyone gets to be in on EVERY session leaving no one left out, or put into a position to have to make a choice for one over the other. Trust me, you will love the event, no matter what City it's in.
@Sheldon - love traditions, looking forward to seeing you again my friend.
@Rich @Patricia - we'd love to see you both make it if possible.
@Terry - Michigan sounds great, we may need to contact you for best venues and locations. I'll have my people call your people! :-))
@Craig & Courtney - no more thinking about it, Nike said it best... "Just Do It!"
@Russell - it'll either be Dallas or Austin, should we do both? Can we fill each location? Let me know...
@Kate - there's no email alert but if you watch the AR newsletters, you won't miss it. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed on RainCamp.com and then you will be notified of each location and date.
@Donna - yes, bring your sleeping bag and canteen!! lol~ :-)
@TLW - TM does stand for "Try Me" and "SOL" stands for "sudden outburst of laughter!" haha~
For all RainCamps that will be coming up in other cities in the future, we'll be sure to post about them and place them on this calendar.
Hi Brad...I'm so glad I went to Rain Camp in Seattle, the ideas, information, sharing and networking where well worth attending.
If anyone has a chance to go to a Rain Camp near them ...go, the cost is very affordable and the event is awesome :O))
Rumor has it that there is one in San Diego in February. Looking forward to it and the 2 hour trip down. What's wrong with L.A.?? :)
I am coming to the San Francisco one and I am very excited to go!
NYC sounds like fun, but it is so far away. Texas is bigger than most people realize, Dallas is a 5 hour drive from Austin. Do it in Austin, we are known as the live music capital of the world. Maybe we could get some local live music for Rain Camp?!?
;)
I am waiting for Raincamps to come to Canada. Still an untapped market up here waiting for someone to show the way.
Thanks for the information and agenda. When will there be one closer to Virginia?
RainCamp Seattle was a not to miss event! Cram packed day full of information....I think I had 15 pages of notes!! Thanks Brad, Bob and Ben you guys ROCK!!
Hi Brad-
The calendar is showing both January 12th and January 27th as RainCamp dates. I don't care if you have it somewhere closer - but somewhere warmer would be great.
For all who are considering RainCamp and have enough sweaters for SF and NY: GO! GO! GO! It's the most substantive seminar of it's type. Hire someone to answer your phones as you will not want to leave the ROOM while it's raining this info!
--Sara in San Antonio
Brad - Stephanie and I are already registered for Inman Real Estate Connect so plan on going one day earlier to go to Raincamp !!!! Very very cool. Just sent Bob Stewart an email asking about logistics in terms if we need to do anything else specific to register since we are already registered. ~ Chris
I will make sure that I stop everything I'm doing to make it there... I can't wait to meet everyone and to thank you for your support.
CONT ME IN >>>>>
Brad, you must be coming to Florida, right? Or at least Atlanta? Or both? Can't wait!!!
I think chicago would be a great place for another one though I may make New york
Any prizes for being from the furthest point east in North America? You guys are tempting me big time.
Any opportunity for a future RainCamp in San Diego would be greatly appreciated!
Brad,
I'm checking on schedules looking for one either in Little Rock or Dallas even though my address says OK.
Welll you guys are on a ThunderRoll with your Raincamps! How Exciting!
Brad - Whoppee! - so glad you finally chose New York. Count me In - provided the technologically challenged (that's me) can benefit.
Thanks for the explanation - saved me from stumbling through it. I am trying to recruit some collegues to join me there.
It is half as much as RainCamp Seattle, then everyone is in for a great time. Prepare to be energized!
Howdy there Brad
I sure do hope y'all come to New Hampshire, real soon. I'd sure would like to come to RainCamp.
Hi Brad, with all the recent excitement of REBarCamp here in San Diego, I think this winter would be a good time to back to the Sun in San Diego. The topics are exciting and I am sure this will transform our efforts into results. It was so great getting to meet you in person and I have something to comment on. No matter how big a smile you get in the photos of you, they could never compare to the huge genuine smile on your face when we met. Awesome!
All sounds good except for that whole "10 days of pain" part. Now I'm skeered! lol
Hoping I can make the San Francisco class!!! Sounds like a great opportunity to learn more social networking secrets and strategies.
Hello Brad... When will we have a RainCamp in Tennessee ? Looking forward to attending soon !
Brad- sounds sooooooo great. Hope Florida makes it on your radar soon. We have a very active crowd down here and would love to host you guys! Beaches and Sunshine abound!
New York and San Fran...the weather sucks...its 82 today in Tampa....when is the camp coming to Tampa?
Any chance of converting this to a book for those of us who just cannot make it soon? I for one would gladly pay!
I think there was a raincamp here back in September-ish but the only way I found out about it was through a Keller Williams agent forwarding me the ad!
Please please please come again :)
Hi Renee - the only RainCamp we have done so far started in Seattle, WA. We haven't been to LV yet, but I'm sure if there's enough interest there, it'll be added to our tour list of cities. I'd love to bring RainCamp to Vegas. :-)
We are so looking forward to having you guys out here on the East Coast. Can't wait!
Please make plans to hold a RainCamp here in Georgia. I'll definitely attend.
Dan - we're very excited to be coming to New York and teaming up with Inman Real Estate Connect. It's going to be a spectacular few days in the Big Apple! Looking forward to meeting you there. :-)
Sounds like you've been on each coast... How about in the middle? Like the Chicago area?? Pleeeeeeeeeze!
Brad: Still waiting to see DC pop up as an upcoming venue. The feedback on these Rain Camps is awesome.
Im going to be at the SF event. Can't wait!
Kimberly - the middle is on the list.
Chris Ann - come to New York and get Inman Connected while you're there.
Prospect Mortgage - look forward to seeing you there, bring the entire office if you like. :-)
I am thrilled to be enrolled for NYC! It will be a late Christmas present getting to meet you guys.
We had a REBar camp here in Denver and it was awesome! Special thanks to Krystal Kraft for putting it together. Would love to see ActiveRain here in Colorado.
We'd love to come to Colorado, I was at the REBarCamp there, and a RainCamp would be awesome too!! Kristal Kraft did an outstanding job putting that event all together. Hopefully we'll get CO on the calendar for next year, it would be great! :-)
Thanks Brad for another informative post. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Hope you will be able to take some time off and that your son gets home for Thanksgiving
Aww June, thanks. I hope he does make it home for Thanksgiving, but if not, I'll see him for sure at Christmas. You are so sweet to think of and mention that. I hope your Holiday brings you greater joy than you could ever expect or imagine! Thanks. :-)
PS. we have a few very cool surprises planned for RainCamp SF, but I'm not allowed to say anything because it's suppose to be a big secret, wish you could make it there.
Hi Brad,
I am not going to be able to make San Francisco or NY unfortunately. I'm sure the tour will make a few stops in Texas and i'll be there when it does. If you are still considering Texas locations, take a close look at San Antonio.
Marcus - Texas is on the list, just not sure what cities yet. No worries, we'll post about it with plenty of advanced notice. :-)
Hi Brad,
I was at yesterdays camp in San Francisco, fantastic information and what a great family you have, to hear your group play and your wife sing, wow, spectacular!
Thanks for the post! I was wondering what Rain Camp was.
C-
Rita - thanks so much, that was our little surpise for RainCamp guests at San Francisco, hope you enjoyed the day as much as us!
Chad - you should try to make it to one of these when we're in your area. :-)
Rain Camp would be GREAT in ORLANDO!
Dan - we're coming! Are you ready to register now? I'll have a post up tomorrow about it. :-)
So glad to finally know what Raincamp is and consists of!
Brad, I saw Chicago is scheduled for March 18th! So excited to see that you will be here. I read some terrific informative posts about past RainCamps and must say that I like the schedule. This will be my first and I am excited that it is RainCamp.
Brad what is the "Reserved Platinum seating in the front of the room with table, wi-fi, and power". How much and how many seats have that? Thanks.
Michael - The "Annual Platinum Access Pass" get's you one of those seats at every event if you choose, and much more. Here's a link to the post with details. You can also find out anything you want to know about RainCamps at RainCamp.com. :-)
Looking forward to when RainCamp gets to the metro Atlanta area!
Hope it will be real soon!
Brad -- I'll be in NYC on January 12. I am so looking forward to this. Do we need to bring our own laptops?

Hi Brad,
I would love to attend... are you planning to come to Toronto?
Hi Nancy - it's been discussed I'm sure, but no dates on the calendar just yet. Keep checking back. Would you come to Washington maybe?
Terrific event today! The information was invaluable and the presentation first rate! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it, we felt that it was indeed a very successful day based on many of the comments and responses we've received.
Great photo too, thanks. :-)
Good to know about another great resource. Sounds like a real winner.
Are there any raincamps scheduled for the Southern states? Mainly GA, SC, NC, VA, TN? Thanks in advance.
