ActiveRains "First" On-Line Training Webinar - Welcome To Session One
First, I want to thank all of you who have been waiting patiently for these webinars. I just received a comment on my post from Cathy Tishhouse which reminded me, and made me realize that we need to get these training webinars under way. We have just setup our very own AR On-line Training room, and we're ready to do our first session. Our goal in session one is to help AR members get their Outside Blogs created and setup so they can benefit just like Cathy has. There are now over one thousand new AR Outside Blogs out there, and we'd love to see that ALL ActiveRain members are getting these same benefits and results from their outside ActiveBlogs.

This Thursday at 11:00am PDT, I'll be hosting our first "Official" ActiveRain Training Webinar. It'll be on how to create, setup, and maximize your ActiveRain Outside Blogs. We also have a special guest who will be joining us. I'd love for you to join us too. I must admit that I was most excited by having the ability to add google analytics to my outside blog. Thanks for the enhancements, and keep them coming!
BRad - it's great that this is getting off the ground. Would love to listen in, but schedule won't work. Plus I already have an outside blog so why take up space that someone else could benefit from. Hope it goes well - looking forward to more information on how to best make use of these outside blogs.

Greg - you have yours pointing to an existing domain name that has content on it already. You just need to get another domain name. Come to the webinar and we'll show you how to remedy the issue yours is having. It's not broken, just needs a simple correction.

Perhaps you answered this, but will the training be helpful with those of us with the 'free' version of the outside blogs?
Colleen and Joel - this webinar is for the upgraded ActiveBlogs (Outside Blogs) only. Many of the features and tools we'll be teaching and going over are not available on the free outside blogs that were provided last year.
I would suggest upgrading your FREE Blog, join us for the webinar, and if you don't see the value or get the desired results you expect, you can cancel it anytime. I seriously doubt you'll be doing that though... :-)

Thanks so much Brad for making me a celebrity - is this my 5 minutes in the Rain? :-) LOL. You really made a difference with my moving forward (as the comment says) - you also made a difference with my progress on creating and including video (webinar #2???). An agent in my office (who joined AR with my invite) was watching some online training video and I said I don't watch a lot of that - ActiveRain is where I get most of my education & tips etc. I also did a plug for the Outside Blog!! Brad...I am definitely going to try and attend the online seminar....aklthough I will be out of town, I think I can join. Sounds like a great way to ensure I am doing everything right.
OK - for all those who couldn't make it, I think I figured out a way for you to watch the webinar. Try the links I just edited and added to this post. It should work. It may take 20-30 seconds to load because it's a large file and it has to buffer to your computer screen.

As I had to bail before the end, I'd delighted I can now see what I missed. At least my early arrival signed all the listing paperwork, so I won't complain.
Thanks to all you AR folks. I was particularly impressed how Bob jumped right in when you had a technical glitch and kept the show on the road. Showed real AR teamwork and synergy.
