The Official ActiveRain Guide

So while chatting with Jason Crouch today on Skype, we began discussing all the wonderful ways our Activerain blog is being shared instantly on multiple networks every time we write a post.  Some of the networks I didn't even remember having set up a feed to months and months ago.

Once you go through the set up which normally takes anywhere from 2-3 minutes your blog is automatically being fed to all the different social networks everytime you write a post and increases your exposure exponentially. Each site works a little differently, but all of the applications below were very easy to set up and they maintain themselves automatically.

Below is the list of networks that my activerain blog is automatically distributed to everytime I write a post, if you can think of any others, let me know:

Facebook

Twitter

Myspace

Plaxo

 

Technorati

Friendfeed

Remember, for sites that allow you to publish an RSS feed, your feed is http://activerain.com/blogs/your username/rss.  Example: http://activerain.com/blogs/myrtlebeachblog/rss.

Simply insert your RSS feed link into those sites and and your blog will be fed to your profile on that network instantly.
